Simple, but fantastic. The shadows work so well here, good job with the spotlights. Nice composition and framing, I like that you didn't cut off too much of any of the shadows. Great subdued colors, they feel very warm.

Wow, now this has great pop to it! This fits the challenge perfectly. The colors are simply amazing. I feel like I'm in Willy Wonka's factory. I'm usually not a big fan of hallways/streets/etc. running straight down the pic and ending right in the middle, but I think this one has enough zing to it that it doesn't catch my focus so much. I think this will do very well!

I'm not sure that I get it, but I like it. The shape on the left reminds me of a snowflake. I don't mind the shadows because they're soft and I think it adds to the depth of the picture. Colors are relaxing, calm.

I did it, but as I said on another pic, I'm enjoying the weird ones today. Something feels very post-apocalyptic about this and it grabs me. It almost looks like dead trees and dead gas - so what happened to people without trees and gas? Perhaps this is our future?

Ah, D-Town. Just a sampling of what it has to offer. I don't feel like this pic really captures the vacantness (I don't think that's a word?) of the lot. I think a shallower dof would give this more depth, right now the pumps fall flat with the building behind it, at least for me.

I like this but I can't say why. I'm in a weird mood today where I'm liking the strange ones. I wish the colors were a little brighter. Good luck with this one ;)

Background is distracting, eyes aren't sharp and lighting is dull and feels really forced to fit the challenge.

This doesn't really connect with me. My favorite part of the pic is the bright red at the top of the foremost stack, but then the one behind it is so dull. The trees and the wires make this a really busy pic. Perhaps I would like it in b&w?

Pretty basic, but a good pic, I like the b&w for this one.
