Chihulyby virtuamikeComment: Awesome! Hugely underrated in this challenge. It should have been in top 10 or 20 at least. |

Moment of Impactby dssagent88Comment: Originally posted by Prash: I suspect if the picture is actually of what the title suggests.. the DOF blur isnt quite what a motion blur would be... it almost looks like the ball in lying on a base, and the actor is still for the picture. So *unless* this was taken with a high shutter speed and the bat in motion, I wouldnt be too impressed with the technique itself. Nice idea though. |
Post challenge: I understand that I missed what the author wanted to convey here. Sorry if I got the technique wrong. I am new to digital photography, and admit my mistake. Still, I fail to see any aesthetic appeal in this image, sorry:-( Message edited by author 2008-10-09 02:49:37. |

Natalie_2a.jpgby huab_yangComment: Beautiful! The lighting is a bit strange for me.. the yellowish texture (scarf?) is distracts away from the otherwise powerful eyes. Another thing that would be interesting to see a little bit at this angle is the jaw profile. Good work! |
