Flying highby raflimaComment: Great that you could get so close to the subjects. Interesting angle. Would have been more interesting if you lied down in the sand (I assume you sat to take this?). I wish the people from the background would disappear, but wont complain since its a basic editing only challenge. You get a 7/10. Good job! |

Bringing it tastes sweet!by connerhomeComment: Only one word. Personality! Well done. I would have cropped it a bit more tightly to avoid distraction from the background, OR I would have used a lower aperture (f-value) to cause more blurring of the background if possible. You get an 8/10. |

Lacrosse Practiceby caseyfaceComment: I know many will complain that subjects are out of focus here. But that to me is intentional (right?) and is the essence of this image. I also love the fringe in the top right corner, and the partly-in-focus grass patch. Well done! 8/10. |

Airborneby MsAmbrosiaComment: A beauty! Would have upgraded it to a 10 if the rider had his face visible. 8/10. |

The Backstop by mpetersComment: Good play of lighting with the subject. I love the slight unsaturation. It would have been a 10-pointer if the ball was in focus more than the subject. Good job! 8/10. |

Tweetered to the Maxby DennisheckmanComment: Ok on a second look, you get an upgrade from 8 to 9. Marvelous! There's a story in there. And you tell it so nicely. Enjoy your 9! |

Riding byby bluecloudComment: Loved how you wanted to depict the focus as a blurry cyclist, along with other parts of the scene telling a story. Good job! 8/10. |
