Here's what I see wrong here. This is one photograph that is really more like two. Yes, I think the average person looking at this photo will know that what is on the right and what is on the left are related. But being that the focal points are so far to the right and left, and that there is such a division of non-focal space in the middle (the wood), the picture comes off a bit awkward. Maybe getting a wider shot would help, or shooting at a different angle so that either the address or the window display is the central focus. Right now, each side of pic competes against each other.

Nice. I love the grain. But too many folks around here hate it no matter what. Hope you don't get too much guff for it. Its perfect here, and I dont think the picture would be nearly as interesting without it.
