The pic is out of focus. It doesnt seem to be intentional, but maybe it was. If it was, I'd have gone a bit further to maket the pic more abstract. I would have also cropped off the Chase sign at the bottom.

Wow. I am having a hard time deciding what I think about this. First of all, I love the grain. I think its application here was warranted. Im not sure if I like the shot-through-the-glass look, but without it you'd have missed the lines. Of course I am not sure that I don't like it either. I think overall, its a great photo. It made me stop and study it and really think about what comprises the image. Good job. 9

Nice bokeh here. Great composition. Since the foreground is set against an out of focus background, it might have been nice to the flower on the left in focus a bit more.

Neat way to show depth. But overall, it is a bit uninteresting. It doesnt engage me emotionally at all. Maybe you could see what it looks like in B&W with a higher contrast. That sometimes really brings out the patterns of wood grain in a dramatic way.
