Fragileby thorvaldsdottirComment: Not sure how this photo fits in with the Silence topic in this case, nor does the title help bring in the relevance of the photo.
The shallow depth of field, with the focus point then in the centre of the photo, means a very large area covering half the photo is very out of focus and not adding to the image. Having the front of the flower in the lower right corner wouldd then mean much of the picture would be the flower as it moves away and gets further out of focus. |

Your Silenceby AnimeSecondToNoneComment: The overexposed nature of the left hand side of the photo, in contrast to the right hand side, causes problems. I don't know if the tricky lighting lead you to choose black and white or not, but it does work with the girl for the most part. I feel the crop is too close to her head, making the photo feel cramped. I also am not sure about the choice of the border. A square crop can be very effective, and the large white spaces i don't think add anything to the photo, and on the left, ephasise the large overexposed area |

IF A TREE FALLS IN THE FOREST AND THERE IS NO ONE THEIR TO HEAR IT?by melissamp99Comment: I am not sure that black and white processing suits this photo. There is so much detail in it that i feel has been lost as the different colours (but similar tones) merge into one. The higlights are too blown out which means detail has been lost.
I like the idea of the fallen tree and the ever present question however |

dont touchby reezyComment: The focus should be the boy i feel, and npt the bricks in this photo |

Teen Coolby jjstager2Comment: A shame the girl doesn't have here leg down, or just further across to her left so that it does not obstruct her face. This one little thing makes an otherwise good capture look a little snap-shotish, more something a friend would take.
Other than that, the photo is well done, and Black and White processing is very suitable. |

A or Bby radarbratComment: Nice idea and done very well. Depth of field is great to illustrate the point and make the photograph. Not overly sure on the colours, but a well executed shot. |

Do You See What I See?by bubbagirlComment: I can't find the point of focus in the photo. The crop is too close to central to not be, thus the edge of the glasses should not have been cropped out on the left. The subject is not appealing either |

Doesn't My camera look Super Hip in These?by BoriegaComment: The idea you had was good, however the end product does not appeal. The out of focus frames across the lens, then combined with the glasses frames, makes distracting lines that confuse... |
