The clouds in this photo have a fake look to them, probably as a result of the processing you have applied to it. They look as if they were drawn in. This is especially evident on the left most building. The image also lacks colour. ALl the lights are the same colour in this, and I feel you are too closely cropped in. Some extra sky, and extra water would have helped, with a possibly large view of the overall skyline. This then could have seen some reflections in the water, and the building to the right then not being cropped half off.

I find the processing of this image is a little overdone, giving the entire image a fake feel to it. This is most evident in the foreground water and the coast line. While it may have been the effect you were after, it doesn't work for me. I like the subject. Perhaps a little extra space on the right might have balanced the shot a little better

There is something different about thsi photo that appeals. I like the way you have gone with the negative space int eh left hand side, and the profile portrait of the kid to the right. The background is very well blurred for this. I usually am not a fan of this style of work, but you have pulled it off with an exceptionally composed and executed image.

It is probably the effect you were after, the old school type, but I am not a fan of the processing, and the noise that it creates, the lack of contrast and definition in the subject as it gets lost amoung the background.

Don't know why it needed to be validated. I just think you are way too patient to be able to capture this against that brilliant sky. Major issue though is the size, would have loved the subject to be bigger, but that may not have been possible

Remembering times many years ago. A friend had a couple of these when I was growing up. Big, graceful animals. We used to take the cart out with them pulling it along the road..............good times

Greta phoot, I love the processing for this, it just appeals to me. Well done

Nice capture and a balanced composition for this. Crop is good and the tree in the bottom works for me

Great capture of the bird, but the stark white background doesn't work for me. I would prefer to see cloudy sky or something, and not flat white

Nice Idea, but cropping off the feet doesn't help. Also would have had it more to the right, so that it was ascending to the top left corner of the image
