seems like on camera flash was used for this image. When I vote in a challenge, the Challenge Topic is what really sways my voting. So if I am going to be honest here, I have to tell you that this image doesnt really fit in the "Evening" category for me. The pink in the border really doesnt help the image in my opinion. The flash seems to have washed out some detail as well. Sorry if I sound harsh, I am just giving my honest opinion, like I would want someone else to do for me. Best of luck to you.

I have to be honest here, when I first looked at the image, it looked like it was two images connected together because of the contrasting colors I think you should have darkened the ship a bit to help bring the photo together. It would have been balanced more that way. Even after looking at it over again, it really does look like two photos spliced together. Im not saying that it is. Perhaps the foreground is a tad distracting. I don't know. There is just something about the image that doesnt balance out right for me. good luck in the challenge! :)

needs more contrast. it also seems like you used the shadow/highlight on this. I could be wrong. If yo did, I dont think it helped the image. I would have liked to have seen more shadows to really help pull in the whole "evening" feel.

the orange is way too saturated. that would be my only complaint. seems like you bumped up the saturation levels a bit too much for the overall image which also made the image look flat as well.

seems a little on the dark side. its an interesting shot. At least it has the element of "Evening" to it, unlike MANY of the images submitted to this challenge. best of luck
