doors-lr-DSC_0103by tangueraComment by HarveyG: Nice eye for urban Johanna.
Very definite eye-catching compositional elements, the door, the light, and what looks to be a wall mounted coal or anthracite burning heater, the shadow and the floor pattern.
Pity about the visible barrel distortion but that's a characteristic of those huge 'all-in-one' 15x optical magnification lenses.
Did you hand hold this with VC on? |

Fireballby tangueraComment by michaelmonn: VERY underrated. the lines are so sharp but the motion/dynamics are captured so well at the same time. the perfectly sharp straight edges of the wall and road lines give an illusion of stability and safety while the car and mountains in the background bring in the chaos. i really like the desaturation of the blues in order to make the red of the fire pop.

Looking Upby tangueraComment by michaelmonn: This is the coolest perspective ive ever seen in a photo. if it were vertical it just wouldnt have the same impact its like a textured star trek warp speed spaceship trail with staples in it! i really like the concept and the execution :) |
