walking around the museums all day in shoes made my feet tired. so much more comfortable in flips. :)

It's never been a problem at this spot since the ground is a mixture of rock and sand and is pretty solid. There isn't that much movement in the water which also helps. I have shot along shorelines that have some water movement that caused my tripod to sink though.

Nah, the camera on the tripod was just set up for this shot. It was too windy that day so the water is too choppy. I'll for sure be back though. I noticed that my favorite boat is back, the one in the far background. It's been gone for about a year.
