Hi David. I love this Eclectus shot. Very cool bird. You captured an interesting pose. Personally, I like the sparkle in his eye...I don't see it as distracting. It is just the right amount. Without it, the round eyeball would look flat. My eye is immediately drawn to the bird's eye, then the beak. My eye moves around the photo in a fluid motion. A very successful and beautiful photo.

Yes, this was taken in Daytona. It was taken around 7:30 pm which was the beginning of a night on the town, so I feel that it met the challenge. So, what time do you think that "night" officially begins?
