While you captured an old piece of equipment, I don't see the past in it. The picture lacks interest and doesn't peek my curiosity. It's rather bland and uninteresting.

I think you had some good ideas here, but with the building being so dark, it is distracting. I can't quite make out what is in front of it -- and I find that distracting. That oak tree in the back would have made an excellent photo. It has incredible character and age -- and has a huge past... Damn, I should have taken a photo of my oak tree!

This photo is dark and it is hard to see the mailbox... I don't think the mailbox is in focus ... maybe that is part of your effect. I don't see the past here though....I'm sorry.
