Burst by artvetComment: I LOVE IT! Wow, what perfect timing. I'm wondering how many tries it took to get this? Right after the balloon broke, but before the water could accelerate out of shape. Creativity, execution, even the simple orange frame. 10 from me. Well done! |

Pomum Granatusby sonyalphausrComment: Yum! Great shot of the poms. I think because the pom is so dark, a lighter background could have helped the color pop more, but other than that, well executed and set up shot. |

Before and after bite by OddBall7Comment: Why are pretzels so tasty and why do they crumble so much?
Simple shot, but very well done. Don't have much to say, and I guess this is just nitpicky, but it feels just a tad off balance to me since it's essentially a "3 pretzel shot" - My eyes want to see the center pretzel in the center of the shot- so it feels a bit unbalanced to me... but once again, that's just nitpicky. Very nice. |

Change in seasonsby MelethiaComment: Nice. Great detail on the brown leaf. I think just getting a little more in focus on the green leaf could go a long way, but that's a personal opinion I guess. Nice idea and nice shot. |

To Make an Omelet...by klkitchensComment: Great minds think alike. I almost did the same thing. Glad I didn't! This is well executed... I love the lighting, it's full, but still leaves shadow for the dramatic feel. My favorite is the way the texture comes through on the egg shells. Well Done. |

Atlanta Sky Line through My Eyes by photobyjewellComment: not 100% sure how this is "before and after"- the horizon is quite slanted too. Sorry to say that I don't really understand this photo.
You did however catch a nice blue in the sky with some cloud contrast... if you straighten it up and crop out the bottom... say... half of the photo, you could end up with a decent cityscape. |

Two Generations - Future Hamburgers of Americaby houstonianComment: haha- funny title.
I think this shot shows the before and the title explains the after, but would have liked to see both in the actually photo. Photo itself has nice greens, and way to get all the cows looking at you. Their faces are a bit dark (because the light is coming from behind). Not bad. =o) |

Half Doneby izadoodleComment: Very creative!. I think you could have gone with an even tighter crop- the empty space of the forehead is not really needed and doesn't add anything to the shot. A tighter crop might help bring the eyes out more. I also think the left eye came out quite clean, but the focus on the right eye looks softer (even on the reflection). I'd love for this to be almost completely symmetrical/identical on both sides except for the makeup- that would make the difference stand out more. |
