Attitudeby justineComment: One of the best cat shots I've seen. Nicely cropped and focused. He (she?) is a beautiful subject well captured. |

Never Forgetsby crabappl3Comment: One of my favorites of the challenge. I like that you were able to capture the tree in such a way that it gives the illusion of being something else. From the "eye" to the "tusk", I can see the elephant in there in the same way one might look at a cloud formation and see an angel or something else. The textures of the bark are interesting, making me want to linger on the photo for a closer examination. It also fits the challenge very well (as I interpret it). If I could vote, you'd have a 10 from me. |

In the gardenby jjbeguinComment: This is one of the loveliest flower shots I have seen on the sight. The soft focus and lack of color give it an elegant feel. The lighting brings out texture of the petals and adds a nice depth to the center. If I could vote, you'd have a 10 from me. |

Mikeby jimmyn4Comment: This is hysterical! I can't vote so I was just glancing through the thumbnails and saw this one just staring back at me. I had to laugh. Good job on the photo, even better on the fun-factor. Thanks for the giggle. |

Weightby sherComment: Doesn't get more contrasting that this! Nice shot. Perfectly placed on the page, nice composition and definitely within the definition of the challenge. Good luck. |

A Little Dance for the Lordby SonifoComment: I wish she the sky were a little bit brighter on the left side of the picture. Her shadow blends in to the clouds and, in this case, I think it would be even more effective if there was a bit more, well, contrast over there. Still, I like the photo very much. |

"Me and my shadow..."by wetlandComment: I'm not a big fan of pet-shots, but this one is really cute and thematically perfect for this challenge. I wonder how it would have looked had you put him on a staged backdrop rather than the cement so there is only the texture of his fur adding to the contrast of the shadow. In any event, great shot. If I could vote, I'd give you high marks just for making me smile. |

Rounded Towards Heaven, Squared Towards Earthby RiderGalComment: This is such an unusual interpretation of the challenge. Very nicely executed. The framing is just a TAD off center, but other than that I think it is very artistic. I can't give you a vote I'm afraid, but I'd have given you a 10 for sure. |

prey by grigrigirlComment: Whenever I look at the gallery, my eye keeps being drawn to this particular thumbnail. It really stands out in an eerie kind of way. I can't vote but if I could, I'd have to give you a 9 or 10...what the heck, make it a 10. |
