I think the lighting is a bit crude, showing the daughter a lot brighter than the Mother (or perhaps the Mother has a darker complexion).

i think the position of the light source is the problem, perhaps if you tried a different angle it would show a different mood. adorable models ;)

Hello Everyone

I wish to thank everyone for voting in my first entry :D I'm really thrilled to start in the top ten and hopefully would remain there ;)

A special thanks to my Model HighNooner, to whom his expressions were highly rated by many people! (probably a bit overrated :P)

As for the Photo it's a classic Acid Base reaction, where by chance i saw a documentary, they claimed that the juice of red Cabbage is infact an Acid/Base indicator , where i n neutral solution its remains dark purple(two cups) and in Acid solution it's Red, while in a Base solution it's Blue. it was very fun to set up , despite the funky cabbage smell lol.

The controvertial hour glass was just an ornament on that shelf and landed in the picture, i think it had a nice symbollic effect adding some character to the picture !

i think the finger on the left,especially since its not clear spoils the picture, the clarity of the clouds and sea within the glass frame is almost unreal , very nice idea
