Odd Man Outby NeuferlandComment: Nice shot. I agree with Helgi's remark that the end not showing would have been more effective.
Lovely lines. I was drawn to this from the thumbnail. I like this a lot. Message edited by author 2004-02-16 01:14:17. |

Bodyscapeby tariqueComment: This shot is, well, as you said titilating. Well done. You've clearly met the challenge, and I don't think that a pencil would have worked quite as well.
As always, Tarique, good stuff.
(You might think about re-entering this subject in the textures challenge...) |

Aquaris - The Waterbearerby tariqueComment: Tarique,
You deserved and got a good score with this entry. You clearly met the challenge. The set up was effective, even a touch sexy. There's a lovely softness on the model and the hint of nudity with drapery really lends itself to an ancient Greek theme.
Did you notice a rather strange top left corner? No, I'm sure you didn't. |

Time and Moneyby brewinjComment: Nice idea. I'd have preferred a purely triangular approach here, seeing as the watch face is almost the same size as the coins. The extra coins at the bottom confuse me. 4 |

Milk and Cookiesby fas-ligandComment: Sorry. Although these things fit the challenge very well, I'm not sure that they make an interesting photo as is. You need to find a way to photograph them which brings out their taste or their colours, or something which is more visually interesting. 2 |

A Girl and Her Pearlsby dharmesonComment: They go well together. The composition, capture, elements are all fine. I'm not moved by the photo, though. 5 |

Dog and Boneby happimeComment: They do go well together. The capture is fine, but the overal effect is a touch bland for me. Sorry. 4 |

Light and Shade: Paint on Canvasby ImagineerComment: You've used the light as a graphic element - that's both daring and artistic. Good luck in the challenge. I'll give a 6 because, although I'm not overly fond of this image, you deserve it. |
