Musical Potentialby davidbedardComment: The technique of gaussian blur overlays really doesn't work that well for music, I feel. The music really needs to be sharper. |

Daily Practiceby bobdaveantComment: Although this is a nice photo, the hand position is really off-putting. Those who know will be screaming 'get lessons'. |

CRW_2719by NusbaumComment: I really like this one. Each element works beautifully: the golden hint on the hair; the blurred background; the shallow dof; nothing over, or underdone, in the black and white conversion. Of course it helps to have a beautiful model, but this piece of work is very well crafted. |

Handsby thumperComment: Shame about the fingertips being cut off on the right. Nice skin tones. |

A Bit of a Paneby biggood53Comment: The idea of using textured glass in a photo is very nice. However, I think you needed to prepare your final vision a bit better. In other words, the texture conflicts with the flower shapes rather than adds a painted feeling. As a suggestion, you could try moving the flowers further away from a less thick pane and focus on the flowers using a very limited dof. That should help reduce, yet retain some of, the negative impact of the glass. |
