The Omega Artisan Bakeryby timfythetooComment: Nicely captured. With all the tans and browns you could have run into color issues, but everything works well. Little squint in your subject's eyes. |

Hula Girlby BumpyBComment: There must be something I'm missing. Hula dancers don't wear polka-dots and don't paint their faces to look like dolls. This picture is wonderful, but the title hints at something totally different so they don't match and it lessens the total appeal for me. |

Me and My Stuffiesby dwainasaurusComment: I think this would have had more impact, if the child was interacting with the toys, instead of just laying on them. |

Demolition Manby neophyteComment: Hmmm...brand new hard-hat, brand new sledge hammer, brand new clothes, brand new glasses, not a speck of dirt anywhere. This is a great commercial shot, a nice advertisment. As an environmental portrait, I am not convinced this person really does demolition. Coloring is nice. I like the building in the back, but as I said, these components make it a great catalog or commercial shot. |

The Photographerby BenComment: Everything above the neck disappears into the background. The coloring is too harsh my liking. Art speaks differently to different people. |

The Face of Experienceby Mr_PantsComment: This has the beginnings of a wonderful piece of art. This is where my inexpereince with photography is going to show through. I cannot pinpoint exactly where this off. I have no idea as to why this seem just shy of a perfect shot. This tells me that it must be something in technique or processing. As I am not a photographer, I cannot help you with those things. I would suggest sending this to the Critque Club or posting it one of the forum threads for more advice. |

Emu Handlerby boyd2000Comment: I'd be willing to bet that a lot of folks aren't going to like this shot. I however love it. I'm sure you will get omments like "snap-shottish" but I am going to say...yes, there is an element of snap-shot, an element of the candid. But they are all add up to capture someone in their environment. The environment defines the subject and tells us something about her and she is doing what she does within that environment. Well done. |
