into thin airby tateComment: This is what this challenge truly meant, for me. No colours whatsoever.

r e d - p e p p e rby TonyTComment: I know peppers(paprikas) may not be in season but one with very little or no imperfections would have helped this image. A nice shiny glossy finish would be less distracting. 7 |

Obviously, this is my better side...by shamerComment: Originally posted by JohnnyPhD: The background accents the color of the bird perfectly and the pose is definitely a good capture. I'm not big on boarders but it is definitely used correctly in this picture. Well done. |
I couldn't agree more.
Nice shot shamer. Beautiful bird too. My mother used to buy chicks and I used to feed them untill... well, let's keep this a happy time now, shall we. ;\ Message edited by author 2008-03-03 20:51:29. |

SMILEby ZeppKashComment: Congrats on the shot ZeppKash. Knowing he does this on his own puts a whole other slant to it. Great looking dog too. |

Black faced sheepby jellybellyComment: I was going to do something similar...
There seems to be a blueish tint to this photo, it may be my monitor. I may be a purist or just don't understand the challenge as you do but I would have cropped the sheep out, or just scared it away, it adds too much colour to this shot, for this challenge. But then again, it may only be our different POV about this challenge.
I'm seeing a lot of colour in this challenge. I would have liked to have seen zero colours except B&W. Maybe the next challenge could be a bit more specific about the use of colours. |
