You must really have been tempted to sharpen this up - that little slider was calling your name, right? LOL. I'm glad you didn't. It preserves your DOF better this way, more gradual, making this look more professional. A beautifully balanced comp - excellent!!!

Time of day may have helped, too. I can see how too much sun might be too much for an image like this, with the white fence and all.

Crowded Parking Lot

My interpretation here is this: you have chainlinks, but no visible fence. These can be used for storage cages, various animal cages, and baseball back-stops. I was looking for actual fences, and this may be one, but it's not readily apparent. It's chainlinks.

Some sky, or other background would have sold me just enough, but that red implies it's standing/lying against something else... but no shadows. Did you slide the red sat'ch up on this?

Overall, an okay photo, and the technicals are passable, if a bit noisey.

A bit over saturated, and looks slightly unnatural. Other technicals are okay, and it fits the theme very well. The contrast between the background and foreground colors is striking...

Human Fence

Hmmm... too much contrast here. The blacks too black, and the whites too white, which has cost you some detail, and perhaps some texture. The fence isn't of enough stature here, either. That is a fence in the middle, too, right?

Composition seems okay, but this is gonna be a tough sell in this challenge...
