Symbolism of Alone...by tolyanchikComment: more dof to blur out the background would have been a suggestion. another possibility is selective saturation to draw out the foreground, making background b/w. |

One's Companyby ImagineerComment: love this! great horizontal lines. adds a quiet calm. the b/w gradients are great. very simple composition, well done. |

Watchingby LucidLotusComment: nice! great b/w. well composed. i wonder what the effect would be had this been taken at a lower perspective closer to the ground. |

Where am I?by olistComment: nice. i like how the guy kinda blends into the image. for some reason it makes me think of a troll or elf with that pointy looking hat. hehe. anyway, love the massive/diminutive constrast. also the diagonal works very well. only thing i'd suggest is adding some contrast to bring out deeper blacks. |

from the fridgeby 4h20Comment: cool shutter effect. i like the ghostly feel. the green overcast a bit strange though. perhaps if the whole image was intially grayscaled and then turned green, or whatever color, would have been better. |

Friends No Moreby vonautschComment: hahha. awww. i feel the harsh lighting detracts from this image. it is hard to make out what the subjects are. perhaps using a softer lighting would have helped. also trying another perspective. maybe from the angle of the loner, instead of a third party looking down. |

Wall Flowerby EnzoComment: interesting contrast between the background and the subject. border a bit heavy. i think this time around there's too much patterns going on. very 'noisy' if you will. perhaps selective desaturation may have been another option to let the flower shine. love the grain of the fence(?) though. very cool, textile feel. |

naturallonelynessby markorasicComment: is he sunbathing in the desert? hehe. anyway, love the size differences. imposing landscape vs. figure. could use a touch of contrast/sharpness to make this image pop more. another option is b/w...don't know if that would make him get lost. |
