This is a nice subject for the challenge. I think you chose a good time of the day to take the picture by the lighting, but taking it at a later or earlier time of day with the sun behind it might have worked as well. I think this might have been a little more effective with less saturation. Good idea though!

Very nice. I like your creative approach on the topic. This picture really caught my eye. It's very sharp and the contrast is great! The only thing I have a problem with is the tie looks out of focus. But that's just nit-picky really. Great job!

I have to say I'm very confused, and slightly intrigued by this entry. I have no idea what it means, so that means it could or could not apply to desolation. Because I'm so confused, I will judge it independantly as a photo. This is a nice, clean shot. The lighting is a little bright, but all in all nice photo. Very intreguing.
