Log Lizard

This is a bit under lit for my tastes, and while I really like the idea there isn't enough contrast between the lizard and the log for my eye to be attracted to it. I keep looking over to the lichen on the right. The only thing I can think of to possibly save this shot is to dodge a lot of the area around the lizard. Or have taken the shot straight on from the lizard.

I really love these colors, and the lighting from the jar is really great. Also, the little bit of other colors in the peas are really great. I like the depth and texture in the photo as well.

I really don't like the flash and the under saturated colors. Also (and I realize it's difficult to pose a baby) the pose is pretty boring. A little more light and maybe a vertical orientation would be better for me.

I actually went "Aww" when I saw this. My only complaint is that the composition is a tad boring. The contrast between the two main colors makes it interesting but my eye just goes between the baby's face and the dragon's muzzle
