Water Glasses

Woohoo, I got no ones. This is actually quite drastically cropped from a larger picture which included the entire glasses. I wanted to emphasize what I thought was the most interesting part of the photo - the reflections that the glasses made on each other and the shadows on the matboard I was holding up next to them. I had a vertical composition, but liked this better as it seemed a bit more unique. I'm surprised that no one commented on the missing glass, or on the fact that the perspective really is off for a photograph. The title referred to the fact that I thought that the reflections looked like ripples on water.

I really hate it when people tell me my depth of field is too shallow since I can't control it, but I really wish his legs had been a little sharper. Didn't need to be sharp throughout, but they're really blurred.

Neat scene. The stray branch at the top kind of distracts...I think if you could have, focusing in on the tree trunks reflected in the water to the right would have made it a stronger image.

Weirdly noisy. I think maybe straightening the pole and either centering it or moving it more off-center would help. I like the repetition though, of the one bird in the light and the second one lower in the same position but shadowed.
