Black Hole on the Bottom of the Seaby codfish709Comment: One person got it. It's a Sea Urchin shell. Taken in my living room. Here's another view. //flic.kr/p/bnxqNU By this shot, the centre of the shell had collapsed. Interesting pattern. Message edited by author 2012-03-17 02:33:26. |

Tutorial: How to photograph insects.by codfish709Comment: Great, a personal best! Nice to know I'm getting better. At this rate, I should be up to KarenNfld's skill level in about 10 years :).
I know its a snail, not an insect. The tutorial still applied. Several people got caught up in the entomology rather than the photography. No problem if they also commented on the photo. Thanks for those comments. But to those who only commented on the fact that its not an insect - come on! It's not like it was a tutorial on photographing elephants. Most of the tutorial applied. And I learned about compostion, shutter speed, ISO, and off-camera lighting for photographing bugs, insects, snails etc. Isn't that the important part?
Next goal 7.0
Thanks again. Message edited by author 2011-07-26 02:46:59. |
