All That Jazzby jpochardComment: I play too but not often enough! Nice idea but perhaps the subject should be further away from the background to drop it out of focus and Imaybe I would crop to the waist and not crop the trumpet, giving a landscape portrait of a trumpet player - great! |

Natural Beautyby labudsComment: There is a very nice phot here - a lucky shot in the melee of a wedding reception? I would crop to above the right arm and close to the hair on her right, to remove "him" and then we would have a great candid wedding portrait, despite a busy background! The lighting is great and the skin tones are lovely. |

Cactus Jackby tfaustComment: Nice idea and it works well in sepia but the light is perhaps a little too harsh, creating deep contrast between shirt and face, although you have captured the detail in the face. |

Monicaby AlexysComment: An interesting fragment - one wants to see more! One is drawn to the eye but I would have liked a pose that faced the camera by a just few degrees more. |

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: Stunning! The colour of the headdress compliments the skin tones, the lighting is just right and the neutral background is perfect. The focus on the eyes is very compelling. This is a superb portrait. |

Smile!!!!!!!by lmatrangaComment: Soft gentle tones for a soft gentle portrait, nice diagonal pose. The background, especially behind his right ear, detracts a little but who cares? |

Samby rhipsterComment: An unusually tight crop proves very effective. Love the diagonal composition and the gentle colour tones offsetting the bright bue eyes. |

expression of self...by theodor38Comment: The eyes say it all. Very emphatic portrait with bold highlights - they may be blown out but that adds to the effect. A tighter crop to the right, just into the hair, making the image asymmetrical, might work as well. |

Taylor Marieby PaigeComment: That's a nice pose - very endearing. The soft lighting and gentle focus add to the portrait. |
