good shot and interesting crop. I would have preferred a wider tonal range though accentuating the shadows and better defining the shapes.

interesting that the last shot I had to vote on turned out to be my favorite in the challenge. I love the exposure and the colors in this image. Having the classic PT cruiser be the canvas for the neon lights of a classic diner is a great choice. only thing keeping it from a 10 for me is the bright hot spot over the "PT" - I would have cloned that out, but I realize you can't in an open challenge. well done, and I hope you get the blue ribbon!

great capture, very well exposed. If you are like me, you are getting hammered by people who think signs shouldn't be in this challenge, but they are missing out on what you have captured here. a well exposed, very sharp and interesting night shot. well done.

great composition. I think the denim jeans are too underexposed, though. the denim texture, if more visible, would contrast nicely with the terry cloth of the towels. The htree buttons are cool looking too.

image is a bit soft, but the graphic elements are interesting in this tight crop.

clever idea using the reflections in the car window and a period car at the drive up burger stand. might have been more visually interesting as a night shot.

good idea, but the background competes with the neon sculpture, making it difficult to identify.

fun image and a good entry for the challenge. I might have cropped a bit tighter, but the dark background does set off the neon eyes and hair. well done.

while I generaly like tight crops on a subject, I think it hurts the image here. having the wings cut off make you lose the sense of scale of the glider and the aerial environment. It is a good entry for the challenge as the colors pop quite nicely, but the crop hurts the shot for me.

I love this. the grate, or whatever they are standing on, gives a nice halftone effect and the foreshortening of the people, combined with the shadowed feet, draw your attention right to the subject. I also like the shoes versus bare feet. one of 2 favorites of mine in this challenge. 10!
