Ok .. who blew it out...by agwrightComment: you need to check your monitor - I can see a big black editing blob around the middle lit candle where I assume you tried to remove some part of the image. The rest of the background may have looked completely black to you, but I clearly see this, which completely distracts from an otherwise nicely composed image |

Haystack Rockby ZoomdakComment: a beautiful site from many images I have seen. Here I think you should have cropped the sky or the water more as you have left the frame bisected by the horizon line without a lot of visually interesting elements since the main structures are all in silhouette |

Relaxby StagoleeComment: nothing really draws me into this shot. there is an awful lot of foreground water that could be cropped out. The square crop is a design decision that works for some images and not for others. With this landscapes, I think the wider aspect ratio would have worked better |
