Pigeonby GolferDDSComment: Hmm, well, I had to search for the pigeon. It's an interesting walkway, mind you, but if you wanted the photo to be about the pigeon it could've either been placed more prominently or taken against a less distractnig scenery. |

Is it here yet?by DavidLevinComment: Ahh, the anticipation of that letter or package. I know that one well... but with the mailbox taking up less than half of the photo it seems to take away from the emphasis. Looks good in B&W, though. |

Introspectiveby ToddhComment: This doesn't really do much for me. It's nicely toned, although I think it would have worked better without the arc of (shirt? shoulder?) at the bottom center, which is a bit distracting. |

Ghost Travelersby blemtComment: Interesting people-shadows, very freaky. I'm actually a lot more interested in the building section visible through the arch and wish you'd shown that more closely. I like the lighting and the image of the arch a lot and the freaky little people shadows actually detract for me because I'm a big architecture geek. |

Queen of the gardenby pitsamanComment: Hmm. The size and angle make the shot feel unbalanced. I understand needing to highlight the size of the bloom on the right but I can't help but feel there had to be a way to make the result feel less awkward. |

Rusted Scaffoldby dacrazyrnComment: Inasmuch as the tone on this is about perfect, the angle really bugs me -- actually makes me a bit dizzy. So it's pretty, but I can't look at it. :/ |

Bone crushingly bad dayby YomiComment: I'm kind of afraid to ask where you got this shot, although judging from the rest I'm guessing a local museum. Very nice angle. Not sure how much lighting and other staging was under your control but the light levels are very good and the shot is nice and crisp. |

Beaute Naturelle by lmhrComment: Very prettily framed, and nice light levels. I'm a little amused, though, by the fact that your title suggests a lack of makeup but it looks as if there is not only lip gloss but eyeliner and eyeshadow as well... |

Ski Lake Tahoeby smfsnowindComment: This is a very nice shot but I slightly question your choice of tones, because I'm afraid the first thing I thought was "Don't you eat that yellow snow". A less intense tone might have been better. |
