Liquid Frogby jen1979Comment: Is there actually liquid in this? Refraction isn't clear enough to be sure if it's that or simply cut glass. Also, is the liquid non-water as per challenge rules? I'm afraid with these things unclear I am not sure this really meets the challenge topic.
It's an interesting-looking frog, a reasonable subject for a photo, though. |

gently flowing(liquid)in the afternoon breezeby camelotnorthComment: Inasmuch as silk starts out a liquid and this looks like it could be silk I'm afraid I don't really consider this terribly on topic; ice cubes start out a liquid too, after all. The flag is pretty, but the background doesn't do much to highlight it. |

Sapby vtruanComment: Aww, poor leaf. Neat idea, though. Is this the leaf from a rubber tree? It kind of reminds me of the type of sap you get from one. I like the lighting in this, highlighting the pale colour of the sap against the darkness of the leaf, and the depth of focus is quite good. |

Liquid Reactionby davidbellComment: This is a bit abstract for my tastes although it is at least fairly clearly on topic. I am curious what the liquid is -- something carbonated, one presumes? |

Wax Melts Waxby MixiComment: You will probably get some people who think this was too dark, but I like the light levels a lot. The idea is sound, but the wax in the upper container is a little bland -- I think this would be super-cool with a swirl of several colours of wax. |

Liquid Chromeby mcraelComment: It's an interesting choice of liquid but the shot itself would interest me more with more of a focus on the liquid, or it covering a greater area. Possibly given the paleness of the nail polish, a less-intensely-bright backdrop would have worked better; I'm curious what it would have looked like against black, in fact. |

Always Refreshing, Always Coca-Cola!by The KidComment: Way too many people on this site like Coke. What's wrong with Dr. Pepper? :)
That having been said, I like you have a coke bottle and a coke glass. I haven't seen a glass bottle of coke in a long time, though I know they still make them, and it's much more interesting than the plastic ones in terms of a shot like this. The white background seems a little bright; maybe a countertop or a wooden table might have been better? |

Nautilus Dish and Soapby mjdamoneComment: Maybe a touch on the dark side. The bit of black in the bottom corner I presume is the edge of something; it might have been better without that visible. Otherwise the framing is good. It's also overall pretty in a slightly abstract way, the mix of colours is nice. |

Golden Gownby kavamamaComment: What a bizarre bottle shape! Very interesting, better than a plain bottle would be. A bit bright overall. |

Diagonal Honeyby dasserComment: Huh. I can't decide if the textured surface is a plus -- it's certainly more interesting than a plain one would be -- or a minus, in that it's a little distracting at the same time. I like the idea. |
