Floatingby johnmkComment: Er. Where's the liquid? Oh. Wait. Is the whole blue the liquid? Water? It's so placid and still it doesn't feel liquidy and water was off topic by declaration... |

Liquid Goldby TarbiniComment: I think this is the third picture I've seen with this title. Also a fair number with the topic. Lighting seems odd -- either that's a very dark-coloured spoon or it really is on a bit of a strange angle. If the spoon is actually dark-coloured, it's a good choice to give contrast. Not terribly interesting to me overall but it does meet the topic just fine. |

RED RUMby K-RobComment: Focus is so tight on the label and seal that you sort of lose the liquid behind it even though I know quite wel lit's there. |

Tomato Gutsby Lorelei916Comment: EXTREME CLOSEUP! (This Wayne's World moment brought to you by...)
Sorta liquidy, yeah, very moist at least. I think the extreme closeup is, well, a bit extreme; more attractive to me would have been tomato slices that were 'bleeding', so to speak. |

Refreshing?by ChuckieComment: Too much clutter in the background for me. Okay in terms of topic, but the cut-off bottle probably wasn't the ideal choice. Maybe with a bigger spill. |

Technicolor Martiniby scab-labComment: Interesting angle, use of colour. Ultimately too much blue on blue for me but a nice idea anyhow. |

Chocolate drops on a roseby jab119Comment: It's certainly a very different idea. (Or was it just a way to sneak a flower shot in?) I suppose the combination makes some sense, both being lover's tools, and I can't argue with the choice of liquid (yummy, chocolat).
The colouring on the rose has the side effect of making it look somewhat wilted or aged, which is a pity (the petals are slightly wilted, it looks like, but with a different colour it might have not 'felt' that way). I'm okay with the large amounts of negative space but it makes the focal blur stand out quite a bit which is slightly (but only slightly) distracting. |

Liquid Goldby orussellComment: So little of the shot is on the liquid here... it's too bad you couldn't get a larger stream. |

Who's been drinking my juice?by lordrichComment: I would have rathered NOT grayscale to make it more obvious it's juice.
Also, I'd rather it through the juice; at this the eyes are drawn away from the liquid by the keys -- oh, hey, a Russian keyboard... er, anyhow, see?
It's kind of an interesting idea but the execution didn't grab me -- izvinitye! |

Anticipationby adineComment: Look, I'm producing some liquid of my own! *wipes drool away*
Wow. That's, um, EXTREMELY appetizing-looking. Well-framed, good close-up shot, nice that the chocolate is dripping from the bottom to help emphasize it's in liquid form. The fork is nicely non-intrusive. My only complaint here is I don't get any. Oh, and the border's a touch distracting. |
