Wet Paint.by macoxComment: Why black and white? I like the swirly paint effect but think it would have been much more effective in colour (unless, I suppose, you are using black and white paints, in which case a coloured background would have been nice; this renders it a bit bland). |

Relocatedby ToddhComment: Nice swirl effect you've captured. Interesting close-up shot, too, as it almost fills the shot with the liquid, which is very topical. |

Reflections in Oilby JeanComment: It's a bit hard to tell there's oil there; I can see at the top left some dry vs wet, though. |

Liquid Beautyby kosmikkreeperComment: Er, eww. On-topic, yeah. Interesting expression. Skin tone very bright, lighting too bright overall I think. However those things with colours contrast which helps a bit. |

Please? Don't cry ...by e301Comment: More natural looking than many spilled f00 shots. The milk inside the pitcher is tough to see due to colour of the pitcher, but the trade-off there of course is the use of a contrasting colour against the background. Lighting is interesting although given the choice of a set of contrasting objects perhaps giving a little more light to the right side of the pitcher would've been a little better? I don't dislike it as is. |

Got Fish?by dsidwellComment: What an AMAZINGLY unexpected subject! That's worth a point right there.
Not the most... visually appealing thing, but it's interesting, a good joke photo. I like how the milk is swirling over the mouth of the fish and the way it looks as if it is just now being pulled out, which seems to be the case as I've just spotted the fishing line (hard to see, of course). With the neutrality and the coolth of the majority of the colours, the bright fishing lure is a bit jarring, though I guess they don't come in non-bright colours exactly. |

Liquid Grooveby Clou9Comment: Well, very nice iridescence, at least, though I'm a little less fond of the use of a CD. I can't tell what your liquid is, but it does look too thick to be water. Bright dots to the right are distracting; might have been better to crop those babies out. Otherwise good use of negative space. |

Black Liquidby JonatanComment: Now I'm curious what this is. The use of lots of neutral tones emphasizes the liquid, which is good. The stop-motion of the drop about to hit avoids the splash stop-motion cliche, for which I thank you. Because of how much light tone there is, I might have suggested dropping the lighting down just slightly although it is not "too" bright. |

Eggby JakComment: Neat take on the egg idea. The dark background sets it off well but has the side effect of making it a little too staged-looking, sort of a trade-off. The egg-holder is itself interesting to look at, and makes a good contrast for the egg yolk. |
