Wanda's Rainbowby StewanComment: I really wish this weren't so blurry and overprocessed-looking (though I know you probably did it on purpose). It just makes it so unattractive, and doesn't leave the eye anywhere to settle. |

100% Pure Felineby geminiwbComment: The exposure seems kind of blown out, making the whiter bits featureless and the ginger bits washed-out-looking. |

Lace Skyby amsmythComment: Although this is one of my favorite images in the entire contest this time, I have to rate it lower than I might otherwise like because, well, the subject *doesn't* fill the frame. :-/ I wish I could give this the 8 or 9 I want to (or the 10, if it weren't quite so grainy - higher jpg quality next time?), but I can't in good conscience, because of what the topic is. |

From the Backby falveyComment: If you wanted to truly fill the frame with it, there's some extra space on all sides that could be cropped off. Sorry. A lovely shot, but not suited to this particular topic (as cropped). When you can see background about 70% of the way around the subject, it by definition hasn't filled the frame. |

Churchby russiComment: Unfortunately, it doesn't quite manage to 'fill the frame,' imho. The sky does add a relief, a distance, that lest you appreciate the church ... but by the same token, it also takes it out of this particular topic. |

Pretty in Pinkby Alpine99Comment: As much as I adore this image, I just don't see that the subject is filling the frame. If the challenge were 'flowers' or 'openings' or 'pink' or 'grace' or something, this could be a 9 or 10 from me. As it is, though, I can't make it fit the topic, so must go with 4 (my best not-fitting-the-topic grade). |

Green = Stress ;o) [Mood Rings; back & better]by TwocentzComment: Aren't those things cool?? I have one too. :->
Ahem. Uhm. Commenting on *photo*. :->
Great focus (I esp. like how the back of the ring is out, though the front is crystal-clear) and reflection. Good use of lighting ot make the background be featureless floating whiteness. |

Embryonic Journey or the Lava Lamp of Loveby JC_HomolaComment: I really wish you hadn't lowered the jpg quality enough to introduce those blocky artifacts. :-/ Resizing the image *slightly* smaller and keeping it at 90 or better would have probably left an image that earned a ten from me; as it is, 8. |

Sewingby saldamanComment: You do realize she's not sewing, she's spinning, right? Specifically, making yarn/thread from raw fiber.
Sorry. Fiber artist. :-> For the image itself ... it's kind of grainy and not all that well-focused, but I'm betting that's a camera limitation from the ambient lighting condition (since it's exactly what MINE does in those settings!). |
