Tiny Rainbow Dropletby IreneMComment: Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 5
Although a tripod was likely used, doing this shot handheld with a couple of strong light sources could have been done as well. |

Without knowing what I'm looking at, it's very hard to tell if this is something that required a tripod to accomplish. |

If the exposure was lengthened to another second or two, the waves/water would have been more smooth. This just *feels* like a ~1/2sec exposure, something that could have been done handheld with steady hands/arms. |

Light trails from bus and headlights from cars + sharp architectural surroundings shows a tripod was used. |

Although a tripod is in the shot, one wasn't needed for the shot to turn out well. It could have been done handheld. |

Star trails and misty waves shows beyond a doubt a tripod was used. |

Very sharp architectural surroundings + car/human movement shows this exposure went beyond a tight handheld limit. |

Silky smooth water, wavy reeds, and soft blurry clouds shows a tripod had to be used. |

Unfortunately, the object is unidentifiable. If it's string or yarn, shooting handheld with a light source could have yielded the same shot. |

Perfect context to show tripod usage. Smooth running water with a sharp bridge. Probably bracketed since neither the sky or water is blown out and the trees and underside of the bridge are showing shadow details. |
