Clashby MGComment: I wish there was more detail of the water crashing down. I love the idea of the shot. Not sure what to offer as a helpful suggestion. |

Power of Successby LoreComment: I would think that someone really successful would have this baby shining without flaw. Looks a bit tarnished to me. Crop could have been better. |

Absolut Powerby sebassComment: Got the concept. More depth of field and a wider crop would have done it for me. |

Hou to backlight a flower naturallyby slaaksoComment: Originally posted by vtruan: I'd like to see the natural white petals, but maybe just me. |
I am not sure what white petals you speak of here. I have never seen a 'Hou bush', on Kaua`i, with white petaled flowers. I might be just you in this instance. |

Hou to backlight a flower naturallyby slaaksoComment: Originally posted by robst: should it be how? |
Hou is the name of the bush/flower and I like word play because it causes one to think a bit and look words up if there is a question.
Hibiscus tiliaceus is grown throughout the tropics mainly as an ornamental tree for landscaping, as it is very ornamental, with its large heart-shaped leaves and dense foliage.
Today it is often called "hau bush" in Hawai'i and is sometimes regarded as an invasive plant, as it has taken over some areas covering many acres, at the same time creating windbreaks and stabilizing the soil. Description from: //ntbg.org/plants/plant_details.php
