To start with, let me say that the shot is well framed and a very nice photograph. The following is not a criticism against the photo, but more along the lines of what the model agencies are looking for from my experiences.

Model shots are hard -- we used to have to do them for our theater group. I never had the camera, but had to setup sets for them to pose in front of.

The hardest part of the whole thing is that you are trying to give an honest look at what the model looks like while not emphasizing their flaws. In this shot, the way her hand is turn out puts her arm so the inside of her elbow is facing the camera -- the widest way to shoot an arm. Also, the flare jeans don't give any hint of what her calves look like. The other issue that we had a hard time with is that when someone leans heavily on one leg, they end up distorting their torso. This makes it hard for an agency to get a good idea of their actual figure.

Ideal full body portfolio shots should include one from the front (emphasizing the proportions of the models figure) while not looking boring -- really hard for the photographer. A side shot with a profile image of their face is also really desired. TCGuru had a good idea with the hair too. Having a couple more artistic shots that show the modeling capability of the subject are okay too, but large portfolios can be too much -- especially for a beginner.

Head shots are where the model can really shine. Get them in good makeup and allow their personality to come through.

Sorry this is so long! Great photos by the way! Love your work. Also, please note that this was close to 7 years ago when I worked with the photographers so trends may have changed.

I have to say -- with "ears" in the title, I expected corn!

Great foreground. The purple haze along the horizon is a bit distracting for me.

The border is somewhat distracting on this image. Plus, the greens look a little over-saturated.

Great shot, but I get the feeling you entered this in the wrong challenge (Rural instead of Urban...)

What a beautiful backdrop for a farmer! I wish my field overlooked distant hills and a lake!

I'm unclear how this shot fits with the rural theme. Pretty colors either way.
