Great originality - and those circles are traced with disturbing perfection... I assume you had containers of different sizes. But honestly, it's your comment that makes this photo for me. Setting this up must have been the ultimate in zen.

One thing that might improve it is, to emphasize the ripple effect (as opposed to a bunch of concentric circles), would be making the outer ripples shallower and shallower until they disappear into flatness.

You know, I've always hated wedding photos, but yours are spectacular! If I was getting married any time soon, I'd tell you, by all means, to trash the dress. Having looked through that slideshow, I'm incredibly impressed with the character you got out of those shots, and the whimsy and life and - well, everything. They're raw human and absolutely beautiful.

It's hard to find photos of this building that aren't good just because of the architecture, but I think yours counts. I like that the prow on the right (it looks like a ship when you stand close) is just about touching the sun, but not quite.

You've probably seen the wings open a million times since you go to school in Milwaukee, but what'd you think of them?

It's very... blue. Since it's advanced editing, that's not a huge deal to change unless you're somewhere without software. Also, even though it's a portrait, more negative space would help here. The crop is a little close, so it looks like anyone's baby picture more than artistic photography.

Cute pose and face. If he's yours, congratulations on such a sweetheart - he at least looks the part.

This would be endearing if it didn't look like he's just murdered his pacifier. The direct side lighting sort of blew out a little of his face, but it caught in his eyes nicely.

I love that the focus is on the hair and not the eyes, but this still definitely counts as a portrait for me. It's something different, but it shows you what a portrait is supposed to show.

The angle of the background is neat, and I like the colors overall. His face looks kind of plastic, though, the way his eyes and mouth pop out all sharp against very smooth skin and eyebrows.

I had to stare at this for quite a while before I could figure out what to say. I still don't know. But she's so genuine... and that title fits well, because her age and facial expression make her look to be on the verge of sudden, profoud maturity. There isn't a thing about this photo I'd change.

Creative choice of subject! If you'd actually thrown in a strawberry it would be adorable, but on second thought, the way his head is tilted like he's asking you for a strawberry is pretty sweet. All it needs is for the focus to move up a little, since it missed his face and landed on the mat, sadly. And that green blob could be removed, for better unity of color.

But man, I really do like hedgehogs.

This was an interruption in a stream of "click... examine... rate..." where I saw it and my brain literally went, "Ooh." It's her face that does it. This is excellent portrait photography. A real person doing a real thing.

It also rewards second glances. Her blue fingernails are a fun treat to find, and that charm is pretty. And the cloth on the bottom right would be a nuisance, but I tried blocking it out and it keeps her from looking like she's falling over.
