THEN and NOWby RedRuthannComment: Blurry, dithered, and/or over brightened or over use of levels? Great for architechture, but where is the city "life"? The city looks like this, but what about what goes on in and around it? |

Sadly, He Can't See San Franciscoby sjgleahComment: Interesting, emotional, very news like. (9). Did you (just curious) try this in black and white, and/or rotate to make the viewing angle slightly askew in either your software or while you shot the picture? |

Mall Rug Ratsby GangreenComment: Yup. This is city life. Getting out of the heat to the indoor playground... or out of the cold (as we do this in winter when we feel cabin fever coming on). Also, looking for a safe environment for your kids to play. Wishing for a little better focus, but I like it. |

looking upby DComment: Over sharpened? Over corrected? How about looking up to someone poking their head out the window here or in another building. People in the city are always "hanging" out the window and talking to others below. |

City Leafby mciComment: Without the title, this does not depict a city. It could be a country road for all I know. |

Makin' A Livingby mtngoatComment: This shows city life very well. A bit dark, but good. Curious to know if you tried a little different angle... maybe from the right a bit more and looking a little up from the ground? Not making my vote based on this, just curious. |

Toronto Star Hereby PeltzComment: Excellent depiction of city life. Harsh contrasty light makes an emoitional impact for this man who has to sit here through all kinds of weather. A softer light may have made him look comfortable, which he must not be. The people around him show typical city detachment from him. |

The Old Port of Portlandby csbComment: Nice depiction of city life. A little different ange (from the left and closer to the ground) would have eliminated the fencing on the right, and given a clearer image of the people enjoying themselves. I know, you were trying to be discreet. This is my problem, too. I don't have the courage to go out and make myself obvious....yet! |

Skimmin'by ebrantiesComment: Sent you a private email, but for everyone else to see... this shouldv'e ranked higher. Great shot! You should be very proud of it! |

Life in the fast lane by RoninComment: Congrats of a great win! I didn't comment during the vote because my 10 said it all - and the voters agreed! Nice job! |
