"Old Time Arrival"by tfarrell23Comment: Good: Lots of sharp details and excellent focus on the engine. Background is a bit blurry like the trees but not too bad.
Bad: Appears to be overexposed. Hues and tones seem a bit unnatural. |

Fun On A Cloudy Dayby simbambaComment: I think if the image gave a sense of speed it would rate higher. Next time, try panning the cars and then snap the photo. The background wouldn't matter since it's all gray anyway but the tracks would be blurred giving the impression of speed. |

Woodlands Bridgeby Beerme425Comment: This is an interesting composition.Too bad the center "spine" of the bridge, or waterdrop shapes, were not fully centered. I like the halo effect the concrete has on the overall photo. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment: LOL, I can totally relate to this as my nephew gets these often. It looks like it was overexposed or just too much adjusting of the levels. There are excellent details of everything down to the leaves and the boy's hair. |

spiderweb early morningby slonkoComment: Background seems a bit distracting. If it were less focused (shallow DOF) I think it would be much better and emphasize the spider web even more. The lighting is a bit flat and it seems it was a very overcast day. Maybe a fill flash would have helped. Good effort overall and nice take on the challenge. |

solitude (my first trip to the mountains)by fstopopenComment: Excellent composition but the overall feel seems over-processed. Maybe it was over sharpened or compressed too much and, as a result, some details were lost (grass looks blurry and textures seem bland on the surface of the tree). |
