First Lightby autoolComment: I love the perspective you showed in this photo. Colors, contrast and saturation are very good except for the very bright spot which is out of place. Judging by the shadows I see on the trees in the background, it appears that the sun is coming from the right side vs the left by the bright spot. Maybe I'm wrong. 5 |

Sunset at Castle Hill by BobsterLobsterComment: Very good use of negative space. The orange of the clouds matches nicely with the masonry of the tower. Very nice details throughout. 10 |

hole 12, par 4by willemComment: Use of infrared makes the golf course look like it's covered in snow. Interesting effect. Although I can easily make out the flag marker and the golfer with his bag, I see the big tree and impressive sky as a main focal points and then see the golfer and course as secondary elements. 5 |

Spring Flowersby trainComment: Very nice flower shot. The lighting is my favorite part as it makes the flowers look illuminated from within. 8 |

"Back" Cover Girlby DougPazComment: This is so cool and it was pulled off quite sucessfully. I know it's not perfect but considering it's a magazine cover, it looks REALLY good. Skin tones are even a close match. The only thing I'd change is possibly the chair and definitely the background. Not quite sure what kind of overall look you wanted to give the photo but it feels too much like a living room. That aside, it's very good technically. 7 |

Shadowboxerby scalvertComment: Hey, this is really creative! I'd like to know how you did this one. Great sharp and punchy contrast (no pun intended). Love the facial expression of the model as it really looks like she's fighting her own shadow. Would have liked to see a bit more detail of the model's face. 8 |

Vickiby KonadorComment: Excellent details where they count especially around the eyes which is the main focal point for me. And it looks like you did a selective desat and even desaturated the eyes a bit. Very subtle yet very effective. Amazing details of her hair, as well. Contrast is a bit low but I really like the overall feel of this photo. Very warm although I wish she was smiling or at least not so sad or serious. 8 |

The Beaconby alanfreedComment: Very nicely exposed and contrast is very good. I think there is too much sand in the foreground and could use less (maybe even half of it needs to be cropped). It also appears to be slightly oversharpened. 5 |
