Was supposed to leave you a comment after the challenge, almost forgot.
The image has a nice persepective which is always a good start. Composition is also good.
The improvement areas (potential)
- The highlights are overblown , would recomment a different background (prob a darker one)
A darker one will also help contrast against the gutar strings.
- Your point of focus is just not crip enough
- also the subject that you choose to photograph also needs to have more contrasting colors.

One other thing , IMO , the shot needs to be a little more symmetrical. This is my opinon only.. Andrew

Nice concept & excellent composition. I feel the hand needs just a touch more contrast , but my guess is that you want to control the highlights on the 2 pins by not increasing contrast too much.
