a simple shot, that was very well done in my opinion, compostion and lighting are very good, i particularly like the way the cord is placed, adds a similarity with the crves in the fans frame.

This shot is IMO, the greatest shot in this challenge by a significant margin. The subject is of course beautiful, the creamy white monotones really work well, composition and lighting also great. 10 very well done.

Summer Time - and the living is easy!

This is one of my favorite shots in this challenge. I think it will likely get overlooked. It is a very busy shot, which normally I find distracting, but here I like the contrasts. The ages and skin of the men, the boats and the water. I cant figure out what the curved line is at the top right, but it looks like the edge of the earth. The water bottle almost emptied, the man sleeping, the other shirt off. I think this is the kind of shot that would be in national geographic representing life in ? (the Mediterranean perhaps). As far as criticisms go-- the dark skinned man could have slightly more light while the big jug could have slightly less. None the less my choice for 1st place. You have a great shot and captured something that is very human and 'summer'. Excellent shot.

I did not enter this challenge because I was unclea about negative space and what that meant. Your shot is however what I imagined it to be, more than any of the other shots. Very nice job. I even like your choice of sox, with how the "C" is placed. Lighting is great and idea is creative.
