Good tones, creative and funny interpretation of the topic. I like that you put a person in with the tool

My vote for blue ribbon, the hand has so much charachter, it really looks as if the has swung the tool its whole life. I love the 'bronze' tones, especially against the black. This is a strong and powerful image in my opinion. Wonderful job!

I have to agree this is an amazing shot. I love the stance of the little boy and where he is in the shot, very well done.

Well, this is my last shot of this challenge left to comment on, it is the 3rd time I have gotten to it. I really am at a loss for a comment here. I like the 2 people on the right. I dont like the little bit of tree on left (tho i see if crop it also lose bottom of statue). Sorry those are my only thoughts.

Hmm, it is the light which makes this shot. And in the vain I would like to see it as a vertical shot with the shadowed section cropped out, at least on the right side. I like the arbutus tree on the left too.

I like these cows, they are great, my thought is only that I wish shot with portrait mode blurring out the distracting background.

Interesting choice, this shot is a good record of life in our times I think. I would like to see it without the dirt on the right tho.

There is a lot happening in this shot, would like to see it without so much extraneous objects, allowing to see monument more and sky ect less. just my thought
