If I'm being perfectly honest, the over-processing doesn't hide the lack of sharpness in the original and the title is a little self-conscious. Now that's out the way I love the harsh lighting and the intensity you've captured in his face.

I like this but there's something a little awkward about a candid where the subject is bang in the middle of the frame - I'd like to see him off-centre but that's just a personal thing. I think I'd prefer to see his face out of the shadows as well. Having said that, I think the candid is great and the expression you've captured is very telling. Well done.

This is scoring highly for me almost against my better judgement - the flat lighting lets the shot down I think. However, there is an insant connection with the subject (if only he was looking into the camera!) and as such is automatically one of the stronger images in the challenge. Well done.

I would expect this to do fairly well - the lighting is pretty well controlled but unadventurous, I wonder if you could have been more daring with it. That said, I think you've captured a lot in the expression and it's getting a high score from me.
