This is a strong image ... I am a fan of the lone tree. I love that you have back lit the subject.

There are a number of really good things going on in this shot. It is a simple image but the eye is treated to a lovely sky as well as some really cool textures in the foreground. The shadow works well as a lead line

I wonder if a square crop would help to keep the viewers eye on the centered subject
