Winter Sunriseby cools98Comment: Images with a lot of white/light areas tend to trick the camera's meter to underexpose the image. The snow appears a bit too grey and there's not much detail in the trees. Using the hightlight/shadow adjustment and a slight curves adjustment I think could give the image a lot more punch. |

crashing wavesby CHIEFVOLSComment: With the deep shadows in the trees and the bright water it was probably hard to get a proper exposure. As it is the trees look a little dark and the splash appears to be completely blown out.
If this was shot in RAW try converting several exposures and merging them. |
