\"Odd Lime Out\"by bennettjamieComment: Good idea for a still life however the forground subject is too close to the backdrop producing a background that is not quite out of focus enough. The wrinkles on the backdrop are quite distracting. |

Spoons n Forksby arash1987Comment: Nice mix of shapes and colour. I like the idea of the reflection in the spoon however I feel it needs to be sharper to give the image more impact. |

Champagne Anyone?by jjusaComment: Your forground subject is nice and sharp however I feel that the DOF is slightly too shallow. Also, the bright dots around the background glasses are a bit distracting. |

Goldenby jerseyjimComment: I like the choice of forground subject however I feel the DOF is too shallow. As it is the background is just a mix of colour giving no context to your subject. A little more DOF would give definition to the people (?) and make your image tell more of a story. |

Winter Galeby Bear_MusicComment: Nicely done, though I think just a little more DOF (to give more detail to the background) would make it even better. |

Lamp Shade Gemsby kandykarmlComment: This subject can work well however, in order to do so I think the DOF needs to be less shallow to give more definition to the background. |

Simple Lifeby JutildaComment: I like these types of images however I feel the DOF is too shallow as the background has been rendered as blobs of colour rather than soft shapes. I think soft shapes would portray your message better. |

Depth of Catsby esmaice87Comment: The chosen DOF seems to work with this image. Just enough of the head is in focus. |

Asleepby JarrettHorvathComment: I like how the head and paw lead the viewer right into the image however I feel that just a bit more DOF would make it so the nose could be entirely in focus. |

No Caffeineby karmatComment: Good idea and the OOF background has some nice colours and shapes. I think the image would have more impact if the foreground can tab were also in focus. Just a little more DOF. |
