I am very fond of this type of image. However, I feel that the grass takes up too much space in the image. I think ~1/3 of the image would have been plenty. This would allow you to show more of the train.

Good choice of DOF. I like the colour and shapes represented by the train, just would like to see more of it unobstructed by the grass.

I think the image does say 'Pure Passion (for Jazz)' however I think the pole going through the man's head and the limited contrast between the head and the background have let this image down.

This is a nice capture of the person's joy, however their head blends into the person standing next to him. Improvement would be achieved if there was separation between the main subject and the background.

I like the desat and the mood you explain you're trying to impress on viewers I think comes through a bit though maybe a bit too subtle. Once thing that would probably improve the image is to increase the contrast. This would bring more attention to the face and the model's expression.
