Shore Birdby GraciousComment: The composition works though the bird's head seems to be a little out of focus. |

Pollyby kiwinessComment: I like the contrast and the use of depth of field in this photo. I probably would have tried to get more of the bird in the photo either by taking the picture vertically or by not cropping as much, |

America's Heartlandby GeocideComment: It appears that you're shooting over the cows heads on this one. Shooting from the hip or lower might give a better perspective as well as shooting horizontal rather than vertical. |

Cloud Nineby Ricky CleaveComment: This is a hard situation to get the proper depth of field for maximum impact. For the most impact, only the ladybug would be in sharp focus. To do this you would probably have to shooting from directly above the ladybug and selecting a larger aperture (smaller number) and possibly using a macro lense so you could get very close. |

Butterfly a l'Orangeby wdebeau1Comment: The subject does not appear to have enough impact with the background is such clear focus. Choosing a depth of field that only includes the plate and not the plants in the back would improve this image. You would probably have to move the plate further away from the plants and/or choose a larger aperture (smaller number). |

butterfl 'eyes'by RobroComment: The light source seems to have overexposed the subjects slightly. Backing off and increasing the zoom might help in this type of situation. |

Mothby willsy66Comment: Nice exposure. What type of lighting did you use? |
