The black and white background works very well with the coloured lamp however the colour noise on the solar panels totally destroys the image for me.

Nice diagonal line from the head of the fawn to the tail. Also, the tree trunks provide context. Two things though that I am finding distracting, the legs appear to be over exposed and the crop is a little too tight on the top. Otherwise, the effect really promotes the texture of the animal's fur.

In The Beginning...

Noise isn't all that attractive especially when applied to the extreme. One way to make it more pleasing is to copy the background layer, apply a Gaussian blur and then blend the layers with colour. This converts the noise to black and white making it more like film grain.

Applying a little less noise and using the Gaussian blur technique could have made this image work. As it is I feel it's been over done.

As the eye is led to the cross at the top I think it may work better as a vertical composition with a little more space above the cross.
